Midland Lead Patination Oil (1 litre)

Midland Lead Patination Oil prevents the unsightly white carbonate staining of lead, tiles and brickwork that can occur when lead work is left untreated. It can also add sheen to the lead.

Once the lead sheet has been put in place, you should apply the patination oil as soon as possible. Ideally, the same day. If you don’t do it soon enough, any dampness on the surface of the lead will inhibit the effectiveness of the oil.

How to Use:

1. Apply the Patination Oil as soon as you have laid the lead sheet
2. Ensure the lead is as try as possible
3. Using a soft clean cloth apply the oil into the lead in a single coat
