Lightweight Tiles Eaves and Ridge Foam Filler Pair with Adhesive Tape

Lightweight Tiles self-adhesive Foam Eaves/Ridge Filler Pair can be fully utilised on Gable Style Roofs with equal Ridge and Eaves length. Nevertheless, they can partially be used on all other roof shapes as well. One portion of the gap fillers can be applied beneath the lip of the Ridge Tiles, and the other half in front of the Bottom Batten on the Eaves. Users are encouraged to refer to the installation guidelines for additional details.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED that both sides of the roof on a Gabled Style roof must be sealed. Consequently, the required foam quantities will be double the length of the ridge (refer to the coverage information below).

Due to the strips being profiled to the exact shape of the tiles, they are unsuitable for use on hips (due to the diagonal variations). Therefore, it is recommended for users to employ Flexim Roof Putty as a gap filler where the roof has hips. Unfortunately, Flexim Roof Putty is only compatible with the granulated tiles and not the smooth ones.

The purpose of the Ridge Filler section of the pair is to seal the gap beneath the ridge tiles. The Eaves Filler section is intended for use in front of the bottom batten to conceal the batten and reduce the entry of insects.

Each strip can be compressed by up to 50%, providing versatility for various roof pitches.

For roofs without equal ridge and eaves length (all roof shapes other than Gable), users should ensure they have enough foam filler pairs for the total length of the Eaves. Then, they should discard any Ridge Sections that are not needed. Unfortunately, Lightweight Tiles cannot sell individual sections of the pairs or provide refunds for partially used pairs.
